50 ANIVERSARIO DEL 2 DE OCTUBRE
Tlatelolco es un lugar en la Ciudad de México, que ha sido marcado por la muerte en tres grandes ocaciones, la primera sucedió el 13 de agosto de 1521, en la batalla final de la derrota del imperio Mexica, frente a los ejércitos aliados de los conquistadores españoles, donde miles de personas murieron. El segundo acontecimiento tuvo lugar en la Plaza de las Tres Culturas, el 2 de Octubre de 1968, cuando el ejercito mexicano abrió fuego contra miles de estudiantes desarmados, quienes estaban protestando contra la represión policial y la criminalización de los luchadores sociales, este cobarde acto marcó a una generación de ciudadanos, que perdieron la confianza en las autoridades y el gobierno del entonces presidente Gustavo Díaz Ordaz, pasó a la historia como un periodo oscuro de represión. La cifra real de personas asesinadas por el gobierno nunca se reveló, pero se estima que fueron miles. El tercer hecho trágico de Tlatelolco, sucedió la mañana del 19 de Septiembre de 1985, cuando un terremoto con magnitud de 8.1, sacudió a la Ciudad de México, el conjunto habitacional de Nonoalco Tlatelolco fue una de las zonas más afectadas, pues el edificio Nuevo León colapsó con al menos 1,200 personas en su interior.
Antes del amanecer del 2 de octubre del 2018, en la Plaza de las Tres Culturas se realizó una ceremonia Olmeca. Decenas de practicantes de tradiciones espirituales prehispánicas se dieron cita en este lugar, cuando la luna aún gobernaba el cielo nocturno. Los chamanes y sacerdotes provenientes de distintas regiones de México y el mundo ofrendaron sus oraciones, para intentar aliviar la carga de energía negativa que se ha acumulado en Tlatelolco durante siglos y presentando su respeto a las almas de los que perdieron la vida de forma trágica en este lugar.
